Help! I Want My Life to Count

Compared to eternity, the time we spend on earth passes quickly. Sooner or later, every person will face death—even teenagers. Thankfully, God has provided everything we need to avoid the tragedy of a wasted life. He stands ready to “teach us to number our days” so that our lives might count for eternity. By God’s grace, choices made in your teen years can set a trajectory for a lifetime of meaningful purpose. Let’s seize the day for God’s glory!

You will make countless choices in your life: what you study, what career to pursue, where to live, how to spend your time, whom to marry (or not to marry), how to spend your money. But even as you choose your direction in life, the Bible presents this reality: your life isn’t actually your life—it is God’s life.

The “LifeLine Mini-book for Teens Series” meets critical needs for today’s young people. The biblical approach, structured presentation, and personal application projects make these mini-books ideal for parents and other counselors of teens. Thank you Shepherds Press and The Wilds for beginning to fill a crucial void in biblical counseling tools.

— Dr. Jim Berg

This new series should provide some great help for young people at a crossroads on issues having to do with peers, parents, worldly voices, and inner struggles. I wholeheartedly endorse this effort designed to bring the Scriptures to bear in a relevant way for both teens and those ministering to them.
